Causes of hard to cure diseases from a different angle

The ancient ayurvedic health sciences not only prove the existence of psychosomatic illnesses, but also present a list of specific illnesses caused by specific character traits. What else could the thoughts be dependent on if not on the character?

Here are a few examples that could explain the causes of disease you or your loved ones may be suffering from:

  1. Jealousy – causes oncological diseases, weakens the immune system.
  2. Vengefulness – causes insomnia and throat diseases.
  3. Inability to find a solution to a situation – causes lung diseases.
  4. Lacking moral principals – causes chronic diseases, infections, and skin diseases.
  5. Being too categorical or unwavering in beliefs – causes diabetes, migraines, and inflammations.
  6. Lying – causes alcoholism, fungal infections, and weakens the immune system.
  7. Aggressiveness – causes gastric ulcers, acid reflux, and warts.
  8. Reticence – causes schizophrenia and kidney diseases.
  9. Cruelty – causes epilepsy, asthma, and anemia.
  10. Seeking conflicts – causes thyroid enlargement.
  11. Apathy – causes diabetes.
  12. Inconsistency or being fickle – causes infertility.
  13. Being rude or insulting – causes diabetes and heart diseases.
  14. Anxiety – causes digestive system disorders, heart, and skin diseases.
  15. Greed – causes oncological diseases, obesity, and heart diseases.

An interesting fact is that it is enough to cure your character, and the relevant diseases go away permanently. This is especially important to know for those who suffer from diseases such as diabetes and cancer, for which modern medicine does not have a cure.

Li Ching-Yuen expressed his longevity formula in one sentence:

“Retain a calm heart, sit like a turtle, walk swiftly like a pigeon, and sleep like a dog”.

Retain a calm heart

Most of us can become more calm than we are today. Calm people are happier and help others to be more calm. You probably have been grateful to someone else who was calm when you were in a crisis.

There are many ways to become more calm in the article below. Some ideas include nutrition, exercise, medidation, enjoying solitude or even aromatherapy. Try whichever of these ideas sound good to you, and you may find yourself a calmer, happier person. You can do it, so why not give it a go!

sit like a turtle

Walk swiftly like a Pigeon

ok donno this one yet!!may be a brisk walk!!

Sleep like a Dog

Ever wonder why it seems your dog is in a good mood all the waking hours of the day?  Perhaps adopting a dog’s sleep habits might help you emulate the feeling.

A bad night’s sleep is the worst when it comes to getting things accomplished and feeling good during what should be a great day.  The effects due to lack of sleep on mood, productivity, creativity, and even the quality of our relationships take a bigger toll on our health than most realize.

Anyone who does have trouble sleeping most likely have read all the “regular” things to do in order to get better sleep.  The concept becomes nothing more than a repeated set of rules that get ignored, similar to the simple rules of training a well behaved dog.

Finding a new outlook and different perspective is the answer to changing any sort of habit you’ve developed.  Sleep is no different.  That being the case here are some ideas that may just be on the level of an “ah-ha moment” and getting some quality sleep along the way.

Sleep Like a Dog

Dogs may not have the same stress and anxiety as we do, but they do have certain routines you can practice that prepare you for a great night’s sleep.

Eat Several Hours Before Going To Bed

Following this rule of the paw is much easier when you are dog, generally because dogs get fed only twice a day and they have no other choice.  Getting up off the couch and wandering over to the fridge to aimlessly snack isn’t an option.  Maybe eating like a dog is in order for better health!  Eat at meal times and don’t snack just before going to bed.

Don’t Drink Alcohol

The beverage of choice for a dog is water, again, simply because it is the only thing available.  Taking alcohol out of the picture would most likely find large numbers of people wagging more.  Not such a bad idea, yet we still willingly tip those unwanted calories with bad side effects regularly.  If you have trouble sleeping this may be one to give a serious try.

Reduce the Bright Light of the Computer Screen

Computers, Blackberries, iPhones, the television… we live in a digital age and much of our entertainment comes from our computer screen.  If we aren’t working on them, we are playing on Twitter or Facebook, “chatting” with a friend or catching up on a bit of work before going to sleep.  It is almost a ridiculous thought to make it a rule to limit screen time before bed these days.  If it is an impossibility for you, try dimming the screen, creating a low light effect to enhance preparation for sleep.

Take a Power Nap in a Sunny Spot

Ever notice how your dog will find the spot in the house where the sun is shining through the window creating a nice cozy warm sleeping zone?  Sleep is sleep is sleep and especially if you are lacking enough sleep at night by all means go for the power nap during the day.  Find a cozy warm spot, curl up, catch a few refreshing zz’s just like your dog, and go back to a productive day.

Get Out and Exercise

Most exercise should be done in the morning or afternoon.  Don’t get your heart racing just before you plan on shutting it all down for sleep.  Dogs love the chance to run around and stretch it out first thing in the morning, regardless of the weather, time of year, or lack of coffee.  Head out the door with your dog first thing in the morning to set your day off to a better start.  Numerous studies conclude exercise induces good sleep habits.

Get Enough Sunlight

Dogs typically don’t understand the odd hours we humans have started keeping.  Staying up later and later into the night is becoming normal.  Before we had such great late night television shows available people went to sleep closer to sunset and awoke at sunrise.

Dogs seems to maintain this routine better than people now days.  It may have something to do with the fact that dogs usually get the appropriate amount of sunlight.  There is a real advantage to having to go outside to go to the bathroom!  On any account, getting sunlight every day can help with your sleep cycles so make sure to get outside and soak up some real daylight.

A Comfortable Bed

Dogs sleep in many positions.  Most dogs have a little ritual before laying down.  Fluff up the bed, turn around three times and curl up in a nice warm little ball.  Once in a deep sleep you’ll see dogs roll over on their back completely stretched out.  Comfortable.  Asleep.  Set your sleeping space up so it is comfortable and dark, with room to curl up and stretch out in your best slumbering moments.

Think of it as your den.  Take the time to slow down and get away from the computer, the phone, TV and the hustle bustle of the world.  Take a rest in your own comfy den and come out refreshed and ready to wag.

#obesity on relationships and the Silent Killer i.e called #food

we know any thing artifical, (i.e Not arising from natural growth or characterized by REAL (i.e Being or occurring in fact or actuality; having verified existence; not illusory processes based on lies and dishonesty or half truths) be it love, relationships, emotions, friendships, or food is BAD for your mental and physical health!

Artificial flavourings are used to improve the taste of food (and relationships)  to chemically re-create a feeling that cannot be achieved through conventional means. Artificial flavours (in food and relationships) can be produced cheaper, with in less time for more profit and are of substandard quality; unconvincingly poor quality than their natural (and genuine) alternatives. They can also be so concentrated (the unhealthy work hard, play hard dilemma) that much less of them is required to generate the same taste, making them very cheap, cheesy, crumby and tastelessly contrived. Amazingly the american FDA is at the heart of this magical world food consumption through food capitalism making the whole world ill with every bite!

Among the five biggest Fast-Food chaions involved in various controversies of 2012, were McDonald’s, Wendy’s! both companies are world leaders of artficial flavouring and to understand how exactly is processed foods is killing us One Bite At A Time we have to go to the source, and study the science and logic behind, genetically modified foods (GM foods, or biotech foods) that are produced from genetically modified organisms (GMOs), or specifically, genetically modified crops. GMOs have had specific changes introduced into their DNA by genetic engineering techniques extending eventually into human DNA. These techniques are much more precise AND DEADLY! human brain at its best is actually busy killing other humans!

we have to consider that all of the junk food is filled with MSG, oils and sweeteners: all unnatural ingredients that stimulate (or condition into degeneration) our sense of taste. This stuff is not food. It`s junk that fills us up. Food is healthy, nourishing.

So if you are used to eating bad “food,” real, nourishing foods (i.e. raw or even cooked organic fruits and vegetables) will not seem tasty because it is not packed with ingredients whose sole purpose is to stimulate our taste buds through often deadly artificial flavouring in an unnatural way.

Once we get used to eating the fresh, real, nourishing food that this earth blessed us with, our lives with our children will be so much more better!

Deepak chopra as always explains this well, he says Lifelong eating habits have shaped our desire and enjoyment of food around emotional and social needs and it has largely become disconnected with simple hunger and what quality of food our bodies really want. deepakchopra’s next book explains What Are You Hungry For? he explains how with these poor eating habits we are usually feeding our emotional hunger, and not actual physical hunger. By becoming more self-aware we can learn to listen to what our real needs or hungers are and meet them with the appropriate nourishment.

#spiritual traditions speak of #separation as real cause of #human misery. Separation can be from #God our #soul or higherself! #confession But the terminology isn’t important; even the word “spiritual” isn’t crucial. What is crucial is that people are divided inside. One part of the self opposes another part. With guilt, the good fights against the bad. With anxiety, the strong part of the self is at war with the weak part.

Sadness in my Soul

I feel this.

The new year blues perhaps. It’s not really depression, it’s a kind of world weariness that is fed up with the daily routine, people, relationships, current affairs  and suffering all around, Even the joy and sweetness of life that is not available to most, feels faded and stale, and tasteless. A body that is not your own. The brain is paralysed into an ennui. Life and people  don’t  feel interesting. There is nothing that attracts my soul passionately. I feel everything is tried and tested with same old results. It is a game I have played far too long !!

While Pakistanis drink deeply from the cup of bitterness, hopelessness, & rage. Until we learn to say it like it is, follow the truth, we shall drink from no other cup!!

Islam means safety. The one who accepts islam, accepts safety.

The one who feels safe spreads safety, doesnt act otherwise. Just like a perfumed person fills their environment with perfume a true muslim will fill their environment with safety and goodness.

IF for any reason my environment and myself are not recieving this safety and goodness then i am to question whether i have come into islam in the right manner.

Being in a bad mood can help you think clearly

Your car breaking down can cut the risk of heart disease

Not getting a promotion is good for your mental health

Being dumped can help you lose weight

A tough day can stop us from getting colds
